Engineering Manager

The Role

We are looking for a skilled & motivated individual to lead our engineering team, with at least 12-15 years of experience. This individual will interface with a team of multi-disciplinary (Electrical, HVAC, Structures, F&G, etc.) engineers to design & deliver solutions for Power Skids, Acoustic Enclosures, Blast Rated Enclosures, etc.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in the design & development in a total solution…design, build & integrate… environment, with exposure to Oil & Gas end-clients.
• Coordinate the entire engineering cycle across various projects in parallel.
• Ensure complete compliance to project specifications and relevant international standards & DEP
• Make design modification/improvements to on-going projects to meet changing scope requirements.
• Optimize designs to ensure commercial advantages to the organization.
• Ensure delivering quality designs with least number of comments.
• Daily oversight of personnel.
• Develop systems/protocol to maintain company standards (to include process, engineering, and CAD)
• Development and/or refinement of engineering processes
• Advance planning/tracking of paperwork, resources, customer responsibilities, data submittals
• Coordination between the customer, company resources as required
• Final sign-off authority for all company generated engineering documents. Review to include not just technical content but also adherence to drafting standards and other critical formatting issues
• Compliance with all Company, Customer and Quality Procedures
• Any and all activities required to get the job done and implement the contract.
